Wavelets
Wavelet transforms are decompositions of arbitrary signals into localized contributions labelled by a scale parameter. Our group was involved at the very early stage of wavelets developpment and this session presents the first results of applications of wavelets analysis. Methods allowing for the extraction of spectral lines and for the transformation of audio signals are also described, together with real time algorithms. Historical videos and sound examples are provided.
