Sound and Pathologies
Schizophrenia : sounds can constitute revelant means to investigate abnormal perceptual experiences in patients with schizophrenia. We designed calibrated environmental and abstract sounds to investigate the feeling of strangeness and inundation/flooding, considered as core deficits in schizophrenic disorder.
Dysgraphia : dysgraphic disorders are most often linked to a lack of coherency between the writing gesture and the graphical task. The sound, because of its dynamic inherency, is an appealing modality to sonify gesture and hereby help children overcome their handicap by improving their dynamic trajectories when writing.
