Laurent Pruvost

Laurent Pruvost received his Engineer degree from ECM (Ecole Centrale de Marseille, France) in 2005, along with his Master degree in acoustics from the University of Aix-Marseille II. He then prepared his PhD thesis at LVA (Laboratoire Vibrations et Acoustique, Lyon, France), and received it from INSA (Institut National des Sciences Appliquées, Lyon, France) in 2009. He taught signal processing at ESILV (Ecole Supérieure d’Ingénieurs Leonard de Vinci, La Défense, France) and worked as an Research Engineer at RMS (Réalisations Méditéranéennes du Signal, Aix-en-Provene, France).

He is currently a Research Engineer at the National French Research Center (CNRS) in the Laboratoire de Mécanique et d’Acoustique (LMA) in Marseille, France. His activities are related to real-time sound synthesis and virtual reality.
